Blue Lace Agate celebrates motherhood

Agate Blue Lace Crystal

At Moonrise Crystals we believe that there’s a crystal for every person and every situation. This Blue Lace Agate was gifted to a very special person. They were nominated by someone who loves them very much.

Maura’s life changed forever exactly two weeks ago when her Fourth-of-July baby arrived in a burst of fireworks. Now she’s a first-time mom and Finnley is the world’s most beautiful baby. Maura will be experiencing all the wonders of motherhood, while also running her own fabulous bakery and working as a full-time marketer for another company. Her plate will be full (metaphorically and literally!) but she’s up to the challenge.

Her good friend Kelly is so excited for Maura’s new adventure! She knows that motherhood is a wild ride, full of ups and downs, twists and turns. One moment demanding and overwhelming, the next moment overflowing with joy and pride. Kelly will be there through it all, cheering from the sidelines and ready to lend a hand, a sympathetic ear, and whatever support is needed.

Their Stone

Blue Lace Agate is one of the best stones to celebrate motherhood and the special relationship between mothers and their children. It helps us to stay calm and to trust our heart and our instincts, and to let our children teach us too. It gently encourages us to adjust our parenting style, as needed, so we can care for the unique little person that our child grows up to be. Blue Lace Agate also helps to neutralize ridiculous judgments from others and helps us to have realistic expectations for ourselves and our families. It reminds us that motherhood doesn’t come with a manual or a one-size-fits-all model. Each mother finds her own way down the path, in this adventure in love. Maura and Finnley will find their way too and no doubt wonderful things are in store for them both!

Blue Lace Agate is a rare natural blue crystal found only in Namibia.  It has a lacy pattern of light blue and dark blue.  It was discovered by a prospector in the 1960s and has been mined continuously ever since.  In recent years, rumors suggest that the mine has played out.  New veins are occasionally found, but it is likely that this crystal will soon be fully extracted. Blue Lace Agate is a stone of patience and communication.  It is a wonderful choice for parents who need to listen to what their children are saying, both verbally and unconsciously.  It is also a wonderful stone for anyone learning to “use your words” better when experiencing difficult emotions.
