Magnesite promises us that everything is going to be okay. It helps us to recognize and acknowledge our negative emotions, and then sooth them so we can relax and be happy. Magnesite helps us resist the urge to bury or deny our emotions, or to ruminate endlessly upon them. Instead, it encourages us to use our negative emotions as a call-to-action, to take care of whatever needs our care during the day. Magnesite teaches us to be proactive in the hours we have and to let that be enough. Whatever cares still remain by nightfall, they will be taken care of the next day, and so on and so forth. It reminds us that we are capable and intelligent, and given time will be able to solve any problem. So there’s no need to worry or stress. We will take care and all will be well.

Magnesite is a white mineral with gray markings that is often confused with Howlite. They look virtually identical, so the easiest way to distinguish between them is to know where they come from.
