She’s 21 and ready for a fresh start. She’s moved to a new state and gotten a new job. She’s hoping to go back to college next year and this time it’s going to be alright. She’s going to concentrate on her education and take good care of herself. No one is going to get in her way. That lowlife creep she used to date is far away and she’s healing her heart and mind from the damage he did. Her body is recovering and her courage is coming back. Step by step, she’s getting stronger and taking back control of her life.
Her family is cheering her on from a distance. They support her and celebrate each baby-step and each giant-step she takes. They recognize it’s a big deal to break free and to start over.
Their Stone
Peach Moonstone is a stone for beautiful new beginnings. It reminds us to hold tight to our dreams and to let them chart a clear path forward for us. It invites us to honor our femininity, our vulnerability, our emotional complexity and our boundless creativity. It asks us to make big bold plans for the future and to be patient with ourselves while we move towards our goals. Peach Moonstone also helps us to shake off the past so that it doesn’t define us or follow us into our new life. In particular, Peach Moonstone helps us to heal from the mental/emotional wounds caused by an abusive romantic partner. It helps us to sort through our own emotions and to place blame appropriately on the aggressor rather than taking credit for our own abuse or thinking that “all men” (or all women) are like that one lowlife. Peach Moonstone encourages us to become more emotionally-intelligent and better able to distinguish between truth and clever lies. It reminds us that real love is kind. Real love is supportive and generous. Real love gives us courage and makes us feel safe and good. Peach Moonstone helps us to work through our triggers and fears, so that deep healing can happen. It holds us in a tight hug and whispers directly into our heart – “everything is going to be okay – you’ve got this!”
