Barbara lost her big sister and best friend three months ago to cancer. For more than 60 years, Barbara and Mary were an unstoppable team, celebrating good times together and holding each other up during the bad times. The sisters have a large and loving family as well as many friends, but no one can replace Mary. Barbara is having a hard time.
Barbara’s niece, Mary’s daughter, wants to lift some of that sadness away. Despite her own grief, she wants her aunt to have some happy magic and to know that she is loved.
Their Stone
Seraphinite is a powerful crystal that connects us to angels and gently heals our heart so that we can be at peace. It helps us to feel whole again, not heartbroken, and to know that we are not alone. Seraphinite sweetly leads us back into joy. It also helps us to LIVE fully alive the way our angels want us to.
Mary hasn’t left Barbara behind, she’s just exercised her right as the Big Sister to do a new thing first. Mary is learning how to use her silvery angel wings and catching up with loved ones already in heaven. But, angel or not, she’s still Mary – as bossy and loving as ever – and she hasn’t forgotten Barbara. Not for one moment. So she asked me to give Barbara a crystal that will help keep the sisters’ connection wide open. Mary wants Barbara to be happy and healthy. To laugh and get that mischievous look in her eyes again. To see beauty all around her and to know that life is good. To know that she is LOVED by so many people.
Yes, death is harsh, but don’t be too sad – this parting is temporary. When the sisters are reunited, Mary will show Barbara how to fly and wear angel wings without tripping or crashing into things. The bond between sisters is forever.

Seraphinite is a rare variety of Clinoclore that is found only in Siberia, Russia. It is a soft dark green stone with silvery white “feathers” that is found in an iron mine. The mine owner allows artisanal miners to remove this pretty gem using hand tools on days when the industrial mining isn’t active. It is named after the Seraphim, a group of angels described in the Bible as singing God’s praise and rejoicing in all that is holy and good. Energetically this stone connects us with our Guardian Angels and invites us to be an angel here on earth. It reminds us that there are always opportunities to do good and to be the answer to a prayer. […]
