At Moonrise Crystals we believe that there’s a crystal for every person and every situation. This Whiskey Quartz was gifted to a very special person. They were nominated by someone who loves them very much.
They’ve always had a special bond, she’s her daddy’s wild child. Unlike her five siblings, she could drink a beer and get a bit rambunctious. He always got a kick out of that. She was fun to be with and someone he could relax around – she was his secret-favorite! Well she grew up and had kids of her own, and they grew up and started a brand-new generation. Life goes on, but love remains steadfast. When her mom passed on, Dad realized he couldn’t do it alone. It wasn’t even a question of which kid to talk to, he went straight away to her. Would she be willing to move home and help him out? Of course Dad, no problem. For years, it’s been just the two of them, a grandma and a great-grandpa having a good old time together.
She recently had to put him in a nursing home. It’s the right thing to do, but it leaves a huge hole in her heart. Her daughter wants her to know that her heartache is seen. It’s been a huge, powerful love story between father and daughter; and it’s hard to say goodbye. She wants her mom to know that she is loved very much. Come on over anytime Mom, your little grandson loves spending time with you!

Whiskey Quartz has a generous and kindhearted energy that’s not afraid to get a little rambunctious. It reminds us that life goes by swiftly, so be sensible and spend it with the people who make you happy. Whiskey Quartz celebrates family, friendship, and all the bonds of love which make life beautiful. It helps us to focus on the good times, make peace with the sad times, and not worry too much about what the future has in store for us. Whiskey Quartz is grounding and joyful and can gently show us how to let go of sadness, fear and other painful emotions. It reminds us that we are strong, resilient and capable of great things. Whiskey Quartz also attracts prosperity and good luck, making sure that we always land on our feet.

Smoky Quartz is the grey, brown or black variety of Quartz, if it slightly golden-brown, it is nicknamed “Whiskey Quartz.” While other crystals are colored by trace minerals, Smoky Quartz has a unique geological influence – natural irradiation that occurs under ground. While light-colored gems are always natural, some of the darker examples may be artificially enhanced by exposing the Quartz to radium or x-rays! Smoky Quartz has a very calm and grounding energy, it’s a good stone to have around during a crisis when levelheaded thinking and sensible actions are needed.
