He’s refined himself into an unstoppable force. He was an angry and hyperactive kid who grew up into a rugged man, precise, calm, and in-control. He has always been someone who tries really hard and he hopes that other people see that. He’s had to work for everything he is and everything he’s accomplished. Every victory has been paid for in blood, sweat and tears.
He recently got his driver’s license and that’s a big deal. To be able to drive, means he’s earned a new level of independence and confidence. He feels comfortable behind the wheel. He’s not frustrated by other drivers or distracted by whatever is on the road. No, this man is focused. He’s learned how to use his hyperactive mind to take everything in and make swift and accurate decisions. He’s a success in every way that matters, and the credit for each victory belongs to him.
One of his best friends loves the freedom of the road, especially the opportunity to check out state parks. This is a beautiful country for independent explorers! They met back in middle school and grew up together. His friend has watched the whole journey unfold and he couldn’t be more proud. He considers their friendship to be one of the great blessings of his life. He wants his friend to know that he should never be ashamed of where he started and how hard he’s had to work. The journey from boy to man is far more impressive when the struggle is mighty and the victory is well-earned.
