Charging plates are usually made of Selenite. Leave your tumbled stones and natural crystals on these plates overnight and feel how bright and clean their energy is in the morning.
To cleanse the Selenite itself, just lightly dust it with a cloth. Do not submerge it in water.Selenite comes from the driest deserts and so water will damage it.
Selenite is a fragile and soft stone, only a 2 on the MOH's hardness scale. This means it needs to be handled gently, but also that it is excellent for carving. Selenite plates are most often circles, but can be carved into hearts or other geometric shapes. The best shape is the one that feels right to you.
