What makes a tumbled stone ethically sourced?

We have developed 9 standards for judging the ethics of stones.  For tumbled and polished stones, the conditions at the factories are carefully considered. In some locations, stone workers polish these pretty crystals by hand, while in other places, the gemstones are bulk polished by drum-tumblers. In both cases, the polishing process can be a health-hazard to workers if there’s not proper safety equipment and ventilation. If you want the brightest healing energies, choose stones polished by factories that take good care of their workers. You’ll feel the difference.  ♥
