Wind Energy Crystals

Air is part of the 4 elements of Western philosophy as well as part of the 4 elements of Indian philosophy. Curiously, it is not included in Chinese elemental philosophy, and is instead replaced by the elements of Wood an Metal.

Air Energy and the Western Zodiac

The element of wind or air is tied to the Western astrological signs of  Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Air Energy and Ayurveda

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian system of medicine for holistic well-being.  It states that everything is made from the 5 Great Elements of Air, Earth, Wind, Water, and Ether (the clear sky up above the clouds).  These elements can be combined to form three distinct life-forces, or doshas.

When Air is combined with Ether, it creates the dosha of Vata.  People with a Vata life-force are exciting and adaptable, but can be prone to anxiety and restlessness. If you are an extravert who is naturally thin, tends to have dry skin, and has cold hands and feet, you may have a Vata life-force.  Crystals connected to Vata energy will feel comforting and natural to you.
