Red Coral has been called the Lifeblood of Mother Earth

Red Coral Feel Loved Crystals Moonrise Crystals

At Moonrise Crystals we believe that there’s a crystal for every person and every situation. This Red Coral was gifted to a very special person. They were nominated by someone who loves them very much.

Jessica is an army medic veteran who joined ranks with the Water Protectors at Standing Rock this past December. She stayed to help for a few weeks and it was soul-expanding work. On her way home, she ended up in the hospital fighting off a nasty bug. Not the best way to start a new year! She’s home now, settling back into her normal life. Jessica is a healer and an activist, a mother and a friend. But what’s next? After all that excitement and spiritual growth, it’s a bit of an adjustment to come back to the old routines. How can she continue to make a difference and help others, as well as to keep her own soul expanding?

Her friend sees Jessica clearly – recognizing the courageous warrior and healer, as well as the exhausted woman just trying to process everything and figure out her own life. She wants Jessica to know that she is loved and that this is only the beginning of a new chapter in her life. That the path that Jessica walks has been laid out for her by the Great Spirit and she will continue to stride forward with honor, beauty, and wisdom.

Their Stone

Red Coral has been called the Lifeblood of Mother Earth, making it a fitting gift for a Water Protector. Moreover, this stone invites us to become our most authentic self. It provides a warm, steady strength and reminds us that when we take care of ourselves, we can most effectively help others. Red Coral evokes spiritual balance, encouraging us to be practical as well as dreamers. It teaches us that our every action, even the most mundane, can be a form of prayer and an act of service. Sometimes we fight on the front line, other times we sweep the steps and take care of the children. Both have value and both are essential for balance as we perform our divine dance.

Update from Her Friend:

Soon after receiving the coral, Jessica left to provide medic services in support of the Women’s March on Washington.  Before the March took place, she and a group of the women gathered together and passed around the coral while they set their personal intentions for their participation. The coral seems to have a very empowering energy and now carries the intentions of the women that marched alongside Jessica.

Coral is often included in healing crystal lists.  Moonrise Crystals recommends using Agatized Coral, a fossil, rather than the dried skeletons of modern coral.  The Coral that is sold to jewelers and collectors is wild-harvested and this is rarely done in a responsible manner.  As recently as 2017, one of only two species of Red Coral was declared extinct in the world, specifically due to over-harvesting for these industries.  Red Coral has a beautiful energy that teaches us about interconnectedness and that are actions matter.  Its energy is best enjoyed by visiting aquariums and supporting organizations that protect our oceans.
