I just opened your stunning package a bit ago. What a gift! I cannot wait to try the tea, and the meaning behind it is so perfect. Your description of the stones’ uses spoke directly to my heart. And I love your thought-provoking questions, inviting ongoing contemplation. The Obsidian Apache Tears themselves are so beautiful, and not what I was expecting. I thought they would be larger, opaque, flat/matte black, and rougher. I guess I thought they would be as heavy and dark as grief itself. They certainly have strength and power, as well as the beautiful, gentle and natural shapes — including perfect globes. And I am most surprised by the translucency. I think there is a hint of purple in there, shone in the bit of light allowed through, and it makes me wonder if there is a hint of heavenly connection (7th chakra) in this deeply grounding stone, and that that connection is part of processing and letting go.
