I met this supplier at the 2023 Denver Show when a huge polished Tiger Iron standing next to glossy photos of Australian wildlife caught my eye. A quick glance confirmed that almost every stone on the table was from Western Australia. I introduced myself and was delighted to meet a friendly miner. While I often have to casually tiptoe around ethical questions, he and I struck up a rapport and were able to speak freely. The booth wasn’t busy so there was time to talk. We discussed environmental protection in the Outback and mining reclamation projects. He shared how the various Australian mine owners do business with each other and was able to confirm several of my assumptions and suspicions. He’s a lovely human and I am excited to do business with him for many years to come.

Citron Chrysoprase, also called Lemon Chrysoprase or Lemon Magnesite is a rare yellow-green variety of Magnesite found only in Western Australia. It is actually found in a Chrysoprase Mine and can even be found intergrown with that lovely green gem. Scientifically and energetically, however, this pretty gem is very much a Magnesite.
