This Green Opal comes from a small claim in Bulgaria. The miner has been working his claim for decades using hand tools and small machinery. It has a low environmental impact and is relatively low risk for the miner.

I first met this source at the 2020 Tucson Gem Show. I was looking for a better source for Nuummite and found a new one that specialized in stones from Greenland and Northern Europe.
