Though Serpentine “New Jade” may be used these days as a substitute for Jadeite, how distinctive this piece feels from a Jadeite gem I’ve had since 1970. This is the one I’ll go to when I really need grounding. It has a feeling of earth and home, yet of motion and simply knowing what to do to make good changes. I like the stripes within it when it’s held up to the light.
