Preseli Bluestone is a rare variety of Dolerate, an igneous rock. It is found only in the Preseli Hills of Wales in the United Kingdom. It’s great claim to fame is that these stones form part of Stonehenge, a famous prehistoric monolith in southern England. According to legend, the stones were brought by magic by the wizard Merlin in the years before King Arthur’s court. When left rough, it is a blue-grey stone, but when polished Preseli turns bright green. Energetically it is unsurprisingly tied to the energy of the Old Ways, of druids and the shamans of old Europe. The color and energy is regal, classical and beautiful. It’s probably the most “earthy” item I’ve owned; I can visualize myself becoming part of the earth when I focus on the colors. It’s even cooler that these stones can channel Stonehenge energy, it really helps one tap into their personal magic and power. The quality of the bracelet is firm and secure; the band is a reliable elastic that doesn’t have threads that can later tear apart with excessive wearing like other bracelets. The fit can be tighter for those with thicker wrists, but I don’t experience discomfort from the snug fit. If anything, I don’t mind having imprints on my skin for a little bit; let my body soak in all the druid love 💜
