These gorgeous Thulite bracelets well add a pop of color and a burst of good energy to any outfit. Mined in Norway with the lowest environmental impact possible, this is about as good as it gets for ethical jewelry. Thulite is an ideal choice for someone who is exploring self-love and self-care. It has a very warm and happy vibration that reminds us that we are beautiful and deserve to be treated well.

Ethically Sourced Thulite

When we know better, we do better. Ethical sourcing is a constantly evolving process. If the original sourcing for the stone still passes Moonrise Crystals’ current standards, it will be restocked as soon as possible. If the original sourcing is no longer acceptable, it will be restocked when/if a better supplier can be found.

Know where your crystals come from

This Thulite comes from an artisanal miner who legally gathered it from Øvstebø, Norway where Thulite was first discovered.   The mining was had a low environmental impact and was low risk to the miner.

This gem dealer is a Danish prospector. He runs a small one-man wholesale business. He prospects for stones across northern Europe and Greenland. Rough stones are sent to China to be drum-tumbled. Factory conditions are safe for workers.

I first met this source at the 2020 Tucson Gem Show. I was looking for a better source for Nuummite and found a new one that specialized in stones from Greenland and Northern Europe. The owner is an old prospector who has been in the business for almost 50 years and he has STORIES! We talked for 2 hours straight and he provided me with incredibly detailed information. Without reservation, I bought some of everything.

Thulite Healing, Mineralogy, and History

Thulite is the pink variety of Zoisite.  It was first discovered in gravel mine in Norway, but only became popular after a highway was built through the area.  The gems are also found in southern Africa and in the United States, with each deposit having a slightly different shade of pink.  Thulite is a fabulous stone for cultivating self-love and self-care.  It reminds us that self-care is much more than just relaxing or indulging.  True self-care includes every act of kindness and wisdom that improve our life.  Thulite also encourages romance and intimacy.  It is a great talisman for attracting and nurturing a life partnership based on love and respect.
